This Book is Out of Print

The original press run was 500 copies in March 2006. The BYU Bookstore purchased the last 6 copies of the book in May 2009.

Future Publication: The author has started work on a new book (yet to be titled). The new book will include the contents of Translating Scripture: The Thai Book of Mormon with corrections and extensions regarding church history in Thailand. Further the new volume will seek to provide the history of the church in neighboring countries of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Burma. Currently this new book is expected to be published in the spring of 2012. Input on this new book is presdently being accepted. Email the author.

BYU Bookstore & Library

Starting in December 2006, the BYU Bookstore in Provo, Utah began to fill requests for copies of "Translating Scripture: The Thai Book of Mormon".  Look for copies in the religion section of the BYU Bookstore. Two copies of the book have been acquired by the Harold B. Lee Library at BYU.

Church History Library

On Thursday November 16, 2006, the Church History Library acquisition committee in Salt Lake City accepted a copy of "Translating Scripture: The Thai Book of Mormon" to become a part of the library's permanent collection. The book will soon appear in the library's catalog. See the certificate of donation.

Sales in Thailand

Book sales in Thailand began in October 2006 during the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the dedication of Thailand for the preaching of the gospel in 1966.  To obtain a copy of the book in Thailand, please contact Wisit Khanakham.

Proceeds of all sales in Thailand will remain with Sister Srilaksana. The sales price in Thailand is 1000 Baht (400 Baht for members without an automobile).
